If your bill recently went from $35.00 to $79.00, there's a chance you were originally getting a promotional discount that has now expired. If you can pull up the last bill (or any bill) you received at the $35.00 rate it should tell you exactly when your promotion is set to expire on page 3 of your billing statement. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/viewing-your-bill-online-ecobill
The great thing is, all of our billing is done in advance, so if you just received a new bill for $79.00, it's likely those new charges have not kicked in yet. We should be able to find a new promotion that will bring your rate back down to a lower price. If that is not the case, we can also help with disconnecting your service. Either way, we are here for your support.
