Bill Issues
I had the student plan for the last year, charging $30/month for 300mbps, but the deal ended, making it $70/month. However, I recently changed my plan to the new student deal, $50/month for 1000mbps. I'm about to be charged the $70 though for the old plan, even though I changed the plan from 300-1000 on August 23rd. This tells me i am getting charged for the old plan. I am wondering maybe if this is an error/if I'm going to be awarded some kind of credit later on? I am getting the 1000 download speed, so it's weird to see autopayment for the wrong plan.
I can provide email's, screenshots, or anything else if necessary.

Thank you for reaching out to us @user_zv8lum! Seeing a higher autopay amount after you've already changed plans would definitely make me double-check the billing as well. One possibility is that the bill generated before the plan change was completed. In that situation, autopay would still withdraw the balance shown on the existing statement, and then prorated credits will appear on the following bill. Since you're already receiving the 1000 Mbps speeds, that suggests the service change itself may have been successful even if the billing hasn't fully caught up yet.
To know for sure, we'll need to review the account and compare the bill generation date to the date the new plan was ordered.
