From experience the things I've seen when a large increase happens are due to:
- Promotion roll off - Prorated charges if service is added in the middle of a billing cycle - If customers in an area with the 1.2 Terabyte data threshold who don't have unlimited data go over the data limit: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/data-usage-exceed-usage
Did you happen to check your billing to see if the increase was related to one of these scenarios?
