Bill grace period ?

Hello,

I am unable to pay my bill on time this month but I can make the payment a week later than the due date. Is there a grace period available or will I lose services immediately? I tried to make a payment arrangement but I don’t “owe” a delinquent balance so it wouldn’t let me. Help!

Hello, @user_hgr00y if you don't have a delinquent balance your service will not be shut off. If your next statement generates, and you end up with a past due amount owed you can set up a promise to pay using the automated system when calling 1-800-Xfinity or with the Xfinity app. From the app just use the chat bubble in the right corner 👍

So I have a statement for this month already and it’s due March 21. I won’t be able to pay it until March 28th. Am I safe to do this without losing services?

user_hgr00y Yes, you'll be just fine. I'm comfortable saying that because you have no past due balance. As long as that fact is true 😀 Your next statement will generate on the billing date. At the top of your billing statement, you will see "Billing Date," next to “Account Number.” On that day the next statement generates, and then you will see a past due balance. Once you have a past due balance you can set up a promise to pay up to 15 days out. Is your "Billing Date" before or beyond March 28th?

If you have the Xfinity app simply go to “Manage Billing” and then “Statement History” to view your bills in PDF format. The app is great because it allows you to manage your account anywhere, all in one spot! At Xfinity, we know having extra time to pay is invaluable, so we are flexible!
