Bill going up
The bill i received in January had a substantial price increase. After speaking to a Comcast rep, I was told that there should not have been an increase and gave me a credit for the increase amount. I asked if this would happen again. Hr said no. Guess what? It happened again with my latest bill. When speaking to a rep, they told me that it was the "annual price adjustment". From what I have read on your forum page, a rate in a contract is considered a promotional rate and not subject to an annual price adjustment.
I have spent almost an hour on your chat with people and after being transfered many times, the chat mysteriously ended. Today I spent almost an hour speaking to different people about my bill increase. This time, the call just ended. This is infuriating! I have wasted 2 hrs of my time and have no true answers, nor a solution, to my problem.

user_u0slze If you have a promotional price or minimum-term agreement for specific services, prices for those services won’t change until that period is over. However, taxes and fees such as equipment charges, the Broadcast TV Fee and Regional Sports Network Fee, and service to additional TVs may change as needed. View your billing statement in your account to see your plan, charges, and fees anytime.
The changes in format of your video services will begin on or after December 10, 2024. Timing varies by region, but most customers will see a price increase starting with their January bill statement. Information about this increase is included in a letter titled "Upcoming price changes to Xfinity services" which can be found enclosed in the bill statement 30 days prior to the new rates taking effect. The letter can also be found digitally in PDF, which can be downloaded from the bill statement 30 days prior to the new rates taking effect. Exactly. Two months ago bill went up $3 w/o notice. Went online to check and noticed next bill was $87. Called 2/6 and was told not much i could do but got on a promotion that was effective April 1 for $73. I have the email confirmation. Got next bill at $87 and called to cancel and rep told me that some really confusing bs about i changed me service mid month so i have to pay $87 for April and the later the $73 will go into effect. Again that makes no sense so asked that call be leveled up. Put on hold and left there.
