Bill doubled this month

Hello,

I just saw that my bill doubled this month with absolutely no message explaining why. Why on earth did it double?? I’m likely going to switch from xfinity, it went to a ridiculously high price. Please explain how I can fix this and why this happened.

user_jgedu7 Thanks for reaching out to us today about your billing increase. Sounds like a promotional offer rolled off, and you went to everyday pricing. Have you checked through the app or website under the service tab for the "manage my plan" option to review new offers available to you at this time?

We certainly never want these increases to ever be a surprise, and when reviewing the billing statements on page 1 there would be a normally green section that lists current promotional discount as well as when it's expected to expire. When it shows one month to go is the best time to review new offers available to you. Good news is we bill in advance, so should a bill go higher as you may have forgot or didn't notice it was expiring there is still time to get a new offer before the cycle starts to prorate it down for you. If you have any questions about offers you see, or need assistance signing up for one, we are always happy to assist!

Thank you so much for letting me know! I just looked at deals and promotions I qualify for and I am a student. I’m trying to switch my plan to the student deal, I verified my enrollment, but it isn’t letting me do that. Please help me switch to the student plan. Thanks!

Student deals are online only, and we can't provide them ourselves. I may be able to assist though. What error are you getting when trying to set up the offer?
