Bill Discount

So I was told to get a $10 discount on my bill, I would have to set up Autopay with my back account. I did that within the 29 day time window (3 days after I started my service) after changing my payment method and making and early payment. If I made an early payment, Does it void the $10 discount or will I receive it?

Thank you,

Max.

I have the same question. I have been getting the $10 discount because I set up automatic payment with my bank account. If I made an early payment with a credit card, would it opt out my $10 discount for the specific month?

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Greetings, @MaRo2037! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about your auto-pay discount. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

Generally speaking, if your first bill was issued before the auto-pay discount was applied, making your payment early will not have any impact. Any potential adjustments would not be made until the next monthly bill is generated anyway. It can take a full billing cycle (up to 45 days) for a new auto-pay discount to appear on your account, so if you set it up on day 3, there's a good chance it will be applied by the time your next bill goes out.

It usually takes 24-48 hours for a payment to post to your account, so if you do plan on making an early payment, it should be done at least three days ahead of your due date. That way, you won't run into any issues with a double payment.
