being charged for services I did not receive


I recently moved and cancelled service at my old address on the first day of the billing cycle. I was told by the representative that the cost would be prorated to $1.64 which would be reflected in a final bill and to turn off auto-pay. Despite mail being forwarded to my new address, no such bill ever arrived. After paying the amount I was told online it still says I owe $47.36.

Second, I had an issue setting up my modem at my new address that required a technician visit. I paid the $100 fee on my first bill. This charge has reappeared on my second bill.

I'm not keen on forking over $147.36 for computer/clerical errors and would appreciate some help!
