autopay discount

I was notified on my bill in December 2023 that the discount for autopay by credit card was going to be reduced to $5.   I was not aware that there was a discount for autopay.  I set up autopay on my account in December 2023 to get the discount.  My bill for this month still doesn't show a discount.   Am I not eligible for a discount?

Gotcha. Our team can look at what new offers we have available to you as well if you'd like. If so, would you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?

To send a Direct Message:

Ensure you are logged in

  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
    • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
    • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it.

That's okay.  I like the plan I have and I don't want to change just for the autopay discount.  Thank you for your help.

user_cyj4of Thanks for posting on our Community Forums. For most offers, there will be an optional discount for enrolling in both automatic payments and paperless billing. It may not be available if you have an older or grandfathered plan though. For most areas, the discount is $5/mo if enrolled in autopay with a debit/credit card, and $10/mo if enrolled with a bank account. Did you see a notation or pop up when enrolling in autopay that the discount would be added?

No, I didn't.   I have had the same plan for over 10 years so I may fall into the older or grandfathered plan category.
