Autopay card wasn't charged - had to pay manually

Yesterday the billing page said "Autopay processing".  My card was not charged.  I checked again today and the billing page said "Autopay scheduled for July 22".  My card had still not been charged.  I had to pay manually by card today.  The autopay card is the same card I used to pay my bill.  It is not expired.

How do I avoid a late fee?  Also, how do I make sure autopay happens next month?

Hello @user_85a911. I can understand your concern with not wanting a late fee. Since 7/22/2023 was on a Saturday, the system would process your payment the next business day which is today Monday 7/24/2023.

@XfinityBilly​ The payment due date was July 23 - wouldn't the payment be considered late if it processed on July 24?

As long as you have autopay on, there will never bee a late fee charged to your account. That being said, as long as there is no issue debiting the payment when the systems goes and does that.
