Auto pay discount

My monthly bill increased last month from $80 to $100/mo.  I am retired and on a fixed income but depend on internet availability.  I was going to switch to another provider, but saw a plan that was close to what I was paying.  It is 2 gig, and $95 with a $10 discount with auto pay.  I changed to it online.  I received a bill but there was no discount.  My account is on auto pay and has been for years.  I messaged for help and was told that I haas to sign up for auto pay.  Don ‘t understand because I am already.  Messaged again but no reply.  Help!

user_gvic5a Hi there! Thanks for being an Xfinity customer and for finding a way to stay with Xfinity. I know when billing processes and a change is not reflected on the statement is can be confusing. I'm sorry that the new plan is not showing yet, but I would love to help you out.
I have a feeling that the account change happened during a billing cycle, and we simply need to wait for the next statement to post to reflect the changes that were made along with the prorated credits that should be applied.

To help out, I will need you to send us a direct message please with your name and service address since this is a specific account issue.
From there we will verify the account and make sure that the new plan is in place and that the upcoming statement reflects the changes accurately.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon
In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"
As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
Press Enter to send it.
