Authorized manager of account

My husband who is an authorized manager of our account went today with my 70 year old disabled mother in the rain who falls a lot to the xfinity store located at 20th street Vero Beach FL 32966. 6/4/2025 My mother wanted to purchase a new phone paying in full. They were both told that my husband wasn't authorized to make purchases. I called five times spoke to five different customer service representatives who all said that wasn't correct and he was absolutely authorized to make purchases that I didn't need to be present. So we all went back up to the store later same day and again told he wasn't Authorized. We had the same customer service representative and her attitude was snarky and very rude I asked for the manager. He came over same attitude explaining that xfinity changed their policies and that authorized managers couldn't make purchases. That is hard to believe when my husband was able to buy his phone without me being present.  I explained to the assistant manager that I had spoken to several different customer service representatives on the phone and all said this was incorrect and that the authorized manager could indeed make purchases. So now I'm still here wondering what is the point of an authorized manager of the account if they're not authorized to do anything,  also why is it that when I call xfinity I'm told one thing and this assistant manager is telling me something else. Someone has some explaining to do!!!  I'm seriously at the point that I may start looking at other mobile services and internet. Also both the store representative ans assistant manager could benefit from more training on how to work in customer service business!!!  I'm upset and absolutely not happy!!!!!
