Apple watches that I did not need or want which are not free.

Hello,

I went to the Xfinity store in December 2024 to activate a new phone. The agent at the store said that I was a platinum level customer and that I was eligible for 5  FREE Apple Watches, one for each mobile line I have. I asked three times to confirm that the watches were free.

I received a call to say I had to activate the watches or I would have to pay the full amount for the five watches.

The watches were activated and I began to receive a bill for $10 per month per watch.

At the store I was told that I could cancel the watch service online or on the phone.

I called Xfinity and was told I could return the watches with no penalty. A Fedex label sent to my email did not print.

I called again. My billing was deferred at this point. I was told that there was no way they could send me a new label, but that I could send them to Xfinity Mobile Returns at 7806 Eastgate Blvd, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122 and include the [Edited: "Personal Information"]. I sent the package by express mail ($50 postage). The post office said that the address and recipient did not exist. The package was returned with new markings on it.

I called again. I was promised a new Fedex shipping label but I haven't received it yet. Am I naive? I believed and still believe everything I was told. Other customers have described this as a scam. Could it be?

After being a loyal Xfinity customer for nearly 20 years, I don't feel rewarded but punished.

How can we resolve this quickly and painlessly? I never wanted the watches and I refuse to pay for them. I am happy to return them.

I would hate to cancel my services with Xfinity. I am disappointed to have spent 5 hours talking to various agents on the phone, all of whom were very polite.  Five months later, I feel stuck. Help! Please!

Best wishes,

Shanti T

@user_9mbxez

You can take the watches to your local UPS store and they should be able to print a label and package them up for you at no cost.

That is correct, user_9mbxez. You may return the watches at a local UPS store as @Again stated. If you do require any further assistance, please let us know as we are always happy to assist!
