Am I eligible for any temporary service plan because of my loss of income?

I recently lost my job and read online that Xfinity has a 6 month assistance program; I'm current on my bill at the moment and want to prevent myself from falling behind. The Xfinity assistant kept saying that my account is current so I don't need assistance. I do...I just made sure to pay my bills with my last paycheck because I don't want to struggle with my services being shut off.

Do I need to just default my account and fall behind in order to ask for help?

user_ky8qbv Hi there! Thank you for trying to be proactive with upcoming potential delays with account payments. I'm sorry that you had a loss of income and may need some assistance. One of the first steps we can take is check over the account to ensure you have the right services for you needs so that you are not overpaying for services you don't use.

For payment arrangements the account would have to be past due before that option is available. The same rule applies for our installment plans that allow customers to pay off past due balances over 12-24 months. I'm sorry I am not showing any options that we can offer while the account is in good standing.
