Agents lied to me twice - No offer applied (#1), and No offer applied again and they never called back (#2)

Hi Xfinity Support team,

I am reaching out for help finalizing a promotional offer after a string of frustrating miscommunications, including a plan that was promised on 8/26 at 3pm pST but never applied, and another lie about a promotion being added on 9/21 and no callback despite promising to reach back out in 2 hours.

During a recent chat, an agent explicitly told me they had successfully applied an offer for 1 Gig speeds at $50/month locked in for 5 years. The agent also confirmed that there would be no charge to switch to an Xfinity modem (look at chat transcript on 8/26 at ~3:20pm pst). After finding out this wasn't actually processed, I spoke with a retention agent over the phone who offered to resolve it by applying a $70 charge for the first month and $50/month thereafter for the 1 Gig plan with the equipment included.

I am trying to accept this new phone offer, but the text message consent link the agent sent keeps giving me a "sorry, try again" error. I have tried all the standard troubleshooting: Incognito mode, switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data, trying different browsers, and switching between my phone and computer. I had the agent send multiple fresh links, but they all failed with the exact same error.

The phone agent promised to call me back two hours later to help me finalize the link, but they never did. This has been a massive breach of trust, as I have now been explicitly promised a plan over chat, and 1 month later a callback, neither of which were fulfilled.

Since I know consent link confirmation is required, could you please help me push this approval through manually, or send the agreement via email so I can officially lock in the $50/mo 1 Gig plan + equipment (and peacock premium) that I was originally promised? I can provide the transcript of the original chat where the agent promised the plan and equipment at this price if needed.

Thank you,

Akiya

@AAkBe I appreciate you making us aware of the experience you've had trying to update the account with this promotion. I would be more than happy to review your account to see what we can do to get this resolved once and for all.
