Agents lied to me every time

I moved out of my apartment and went to another country in February 2025. I called and chatted with an agent to cancel my account. The agent told me it was canceled and that I didn’t need to worry about it anymore.

However, for some reason, the account wasn’t closed, and I continued to be charged.
Later in March & April, I spoke with other agents through chat and phone calls. I explained the situation and told them I hadn’t used the internet at all since moving abroad. I was told by previous agents that everything had been resolved, so I assumed the account had been successfully closed. The new agents also assured me that the issue was resolved, the account was closed, and I wouldn’t be charged anymore.

But today, I’m still receiving bill notification emails from Sequium Asset Solutions, LLC, saying I owe a debt to COMCAST.

Have the agents been misleading me this whole time? Every time I chat or call, they just say not to worry and that they guarantee the problem will be fixed, but it never actually gets resolved. Sometimes they even say they’ll call me back, but that never happens either.

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_981x4f. I will be happy to check into any account charges from here on that account. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for the service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
