Affordable Connectivity/Internet Essentials eligibility renewal gone wrong?
I've been getting Internet Essentials for a few years, and was sent a letter telling me I needed to renew my eligibility. I ran into problems with their website (it wouldn't recognize my existing account, then kept claiming my state doesn't participate in National Verification, then directed me to my state's site which just looped me back to the FCC's ACP page), so I eventually just submitted an application as that seemed to be the only functional option.
The problem is that even though I've been signed up through Xfinity for years and used the same name/address/contact info, I'm now getting messages telling me to sign up with a provider before time runs out, indicating that the ACP doesn't "see" that I'm the same person. Could somebody please advise me on what I'm supposed to do to straighten this out, so I don't get kicked off Internet Essentials or in trouble for (apparently & accidentally) signing up twice?
