Adding my parent to the internet bill

Hi there,

My mom recently moved to the U.S. and is now living with me. I’m trying to find a way to have her name added to my internet bill, since we need it as proof of address for some documents.

I noticed in this thread that someone was able to get help with a similar request, so I’m hoping you can assist me with the same process.

I’m also new to the forum and not sure how to start a direct message—I don’t see any button or option on my page that lets me initiate one. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Navigating a new country and all the paperwork that comes with it can be overwhelming, so it's wonderful that you're helping her with this. It makes complete sense that you'd want to get her name on the bill to make that process a bit easier for her. To send a "Direct Message":

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (it looks like a text bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
