Add banking information to decrease bill

Hi, I signed up for a new Xfinity account and was told that when I added my banking information instead of a debit card, my bill would be reduced by $10/month. When will this be reflected on my bill?

Greetings, @user_hof0wx! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about the $-10.00 Eco Bill discount. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

It can take one full billing cycle, or up to 45 days, for the $-10.00 discount to appear on your billing statements. If you just added your bank account today, it could be applied to your next billing statement, but it should most definitely be applied to the following one.

If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon, then type or select "Xfinity Support". Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.

Hi Xfinity James, I see that you are an official employee of Xfinity. It has been a full 45 day billing cycle and I am still being billed at $56 with no $10 discount. This is disappointing. Since you are an Xfinity employee, can you please correct this error?

I will be more than happy to look into the issue of your $10 monthly discount. To begin I will need you to send me a Direct message with the name and address on the account.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.
