ACP credited my account the full $229 I owed for July, 2023. Usually Credit is only $29.95
Has this happened for anyone else this month? A few days ago I was Credited $229 and change, approximately 2 months that I owed. I forget the name of the plan I was on previously, it was around $115-120/mo. It was a mid-grade Internet plan.
I was lowered to XAP which is the $29.95 plan to keep your internet service On, and that's the amount the ACP usually credits my account every month to pay for it...But for some reason this month (July,2023) I was Credited the full amount I owed ($229). Now my Xfinity Bill online doesn't mention the $229 I owe, because I assume that is now gone...but it is stating I need to pay $29.95 for the XAP, which is fine, I'll totally pay it if the ACP credited me my balance owed...I appreciate it. I assume I'm not going to get another $29.95 this month lol since the owed bill was credited to my account instead..I'm just confused.
I'm just trying to figure out why? Xfinity states my past due balance is no longer there and also states Xfinity will "reactivate my old plan within 1 hour once the balance is paid off"...which it now seems to be the last couple days, I'm still on XAP(Xfinity assistant plan) it seems. Now will I no longer be eligible for the ACP $29.95 credit? Since having a unpaid balance is one of the requirements for the ACP..
Like I said, just confused as to what's going on and I can see no recent changes to the ACP when I check on Google. Has this happened with anyone else?

@user_27a0d4 Hello and welcome to Xfinity Forums! We appreciate your contribution. As of now, only customers on ACP will move to the Xfinity Assistance Plan on the date that their services would normally be suspended. Customers on ACP will never have their internet disconnected, but you will lose access to other services. This does not affect your eligibility for the ACP credit, and you will still receive it while the program is active. You can enter a payment arrangement or pay off the amount that was removed from your bill (that balance was essentially put on hold) at any time to be returned to your previous plan. Any promotions that you are on will continue to count down while you are on this temporary plan. Let us know if you have any additional questions by replying to this comment. Thank you!

The same exact thing happened to me on July 17th to be exact. I owed $231 but was on the ACP plan and was always credited $30 but received a credit of $231 and was never told why. I am now removed from ACP plan and was charged the $30 I don’t get it
