Account setup without permission
I stopped by a local store to inquire about month to month mobile plans. The rep wouldn’t provide that information to me unless I gave him all of our information. After I did he gave us a piece of paper with sim numbers and said if we were not interested that we should just disregard or toss the paper. A few months later I noticed a series of charges included a setup fee which he said there would not be one. Xfinity activated our accounts without our permission. When we disputed the charges with them, they gave us the run around. Finally we disputed it with our credit card company. Xfinity then charged us late fees! I decided to just pay for all this as I was afraid they would send us to collections. This was fraud and should be illegal.
