Account never closed after confirmed cancellation (Nov 17 email), refund requested
I moved out of my previous home and stopped using the service. I contacted Xfinity about ending my internet service, and I did not use the service at all during November. I explicitly requested cancellation in November, and I received a confirmation email from the Xfinity team on November 17, 2025 acknowledging the request.
Despite that confirmation, the account was never actually closed, and I have continued to be billed since then for two things:
1. Internet: charged every month on a line I have not used since I moved out. Your records should show zero usage.
2. Phone line: a number that was included as free when I signed up for the internet. It has been billed monthly and increased in the most recent months.
I have followed up since then about both the internet and the phone line, and I recently confirmed in person at the Xfinity store in San Ramon, CA that the account is now physically closed with nothing pending. Store staff directed me to request the billing credit.
I would like the cancellation backdated to November 1, 2025 (my move-out, and the point at which all usage stopped) and a refund of every internet and phone charge billed since then. I can provide my account number, service address, and the November 17 confirmation email by Direct Message. Please let me know what you need to get started.
