Account locked from adding checking account

I was promised $50 for 1gb speeds and I'm stuck paying $60+ because my account is locked from being able to add a checking account for autopay. I messed up adding the account the first time and now its locked for 6 months? Just let me fix it and be on my way! Yes I've tried all the tricks and work arounds. I've called customer service multiple times and they all tell me I'm just hosed for 6 months. I'm not impressed at all. I would love if SOMEONE, ANYONE was able to release the lock on my account and let me get the advertised deal that I SIGNED UP FOR initially.

Good afternoon @user_0ojtdt. The agents you have spoken to are correct that we are unable to remove the 6-month hold on your account. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

That's insane. I'm 2 months into using you guys for internet and I'm so done already. I would never recommend you to anyone ever and will never use your services again. The Xfinity business is so behind when it comes to customer satisfaction. Nothing against you personally, but all against who you work for.

We do apologize for any inconvenience. Generally, the only time you will get a block of where you can't add a payment method is if there were issues with the prior payment method listed on file, such as returned payments.

If that happens you may still be able to use a credit or debit card and would just have to continue to make on time payments until that block is removed.
