60 plus days Global Travel Pass charges without using it!!!
I activated the pass in Dec 2023 and used it two times only in Dec 2023 and May 2024 by turning on the data roaming when needed and turn off when I finished with it; I was only charged for the amount of days that I used. However, I was somehow charged for 60 plus days of Global Travel Pass ($10/day over $600) since Oct 2024, which I didn't even know and I didn't even have data roaming on at all. I tried calling customer service many many times and all of them have been dancing around and told me that the charges were valid.
I actually was out of the country the whole time even before Dec 2023 and I have another phone that I use outside the US and I only used the Global Travel Pass on the US phone when I didn't have that phone with me twice (turned on and off the data roaming on my iPhone) I did not turn on the data roaming at all since then as I have another phone but somehow they started charging me in Oct 2024 without me knowing it and claim that I have activated it and used the service. I find it very strange as if this is the case, then they would've charged me since Dec 2023 when I first used the Global Travel Pass and not just now charging me randomly starting in October. I use this US phone with my wifi here and it has never been a problem with extra charges for many years when my cellular data is on as long as my data roaming is off.
Anyways, I only wanted to refund my money as it's not a small amount but they have been claiming that I have used the pass and refused to do anything about it. It's ridiculous as I feel like I'm being robbed for such non sense as it never occur when I was with other companies like AT&T and even Verizon before. Is there anyone got the same problem and is there a way to get a refund?
