$500 gift card scam

I am getting ready to file a civil suit against Xfinity. I have found over 1,200 community members who were scammed using the same $500 gift card scam, promised a $500 gift card for switching carriers. It has been 7 months, multiple phone calls (I have recorded all calls include the initial call where the gift card was offered.)

I always offer to send Xfinity my call recordings but they have no interest in hearing it and either assure me the card is on its way or pretend they are getting an error message depending on who you talk to. This is the biggest scam from the most unethical company. I caution everyone I know against using Xfinity. No wonder they rebranded after being named the worst company in America. Apparently they didn’t learn their lesson or make any necessary changes. Please join us in filing our civil suit against Xfinity.

Good afternoon user_2cmuum. I can assure you this is not the experience we want for you. I will certainly be more than happy to look into this further, and to assist you. In order to proceed, I will need some additional information.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
