$50 Fee to receive ACP

What in the actual hell Xfinity?! I applied and qualified for ACP credit. I received it for one whole month then the next month it was not applied to my account, I called BEFORE my auto pay went through and asked about why the credit hadn’t shown up. I was told that I was enrolled and would receive the credit every month for a year. My payment went through and still no credit so I called again, only to be told that I would not receive the remaining 11months of credits unless I paid a $50 fee. WHAT?? First of all no where on your website or during the application process or even after I was told I qualified did ANYONE, ANYWHERE say anything about there being a fee to receive the credit for this Government program!! Then when I was understandably shocked and upset because I had been completely swindled and lied to, I had been taken in by bait and switch as far as I’m concerned, the rep on the other line has the nerve to get upset with me and tell me “you can either do it or not do it, that is your choices! I am not forcing you to pay the fee but there it is!” 

Are you kidding me right now? How is this even legal? No where on your website or the ACP Official site does it say anything about there being a fee that providers might require in order for you to receive this benefit. I am just appalled honestly, If I truly had a better option I would leave but you all seem to be the same so I would just be going from one POS company to the next.
