$40 per month 5 years guaranteed

Hi, I need help with a billing correction. I signed up for a plan that is guaranteed at $40 per month for 5 years, but my upcoming bill is showing $50. Since this is a 5‑year guaranteed rate, the price should not change. Please correct my account so the monthly charge reflects the guaranteed $40 rate. Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out to us, we do apologize for any inconvenience.  The offer for $40.00 comes with signing up for automatic payment with a checking account, as you would get a $10.00 discount for the paperless billing and automatic payment option

So I assume that a credit card is not a valid form of automatic payment, correct?

Great question. The credit card or debit card can be used for automatic payments, but you don't get the $10 discount.

To get the $10 discount to make the monthly bill $40, you have to sign up with your checking account.

If you go to this link and look at the pricing details of our plans, it does state “Requires both paperless billing and automatic payments with stored bank account (or additional $10/mo charge applies). “ https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service
