$10 credit missing and next bill will be higher

I got email from Xfinity saying that if I changed my autopay from credit card to bank account is could get a $10 discount. So, I logged in and made that change. That caused a payment to got through 3 weeks early, so that's a problem. Other problem is that when I look at projected next bill, it's $2 higher than it's been instead of $10 less. I've not received any notification that the bill would be going up. What is the reason for the increase, and why did a payment get put through 3 weeks early?

Happy Sunday user_myoj88, and thanks for being an active member of our community with your post 🙌 I know how important it is to make sure we're saving where you can, so I'm glad you were able to setup your account to get that extra $10 off your bill each month by combining your automatic payments through a bank account with paperless billing 👍 Whenever this discount is setup, it can take 1-2 billing cycles for it to appear, so that may be the reason it's not reflecting on your upcoming bill quite yet.

As for the increase coming you mentioned, we can definitely look into that further for clarification. To get started, please send us a direct chat message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the full service address associated with your account to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
