Xfinity WiFi Hotspots app to be retired
To further simplify your mobile app experience, we’re retiring the Xfinity WiFi Hotspots app, which will no longer work starting January 29, 2024. You can now view a map of all available Xfinity WiFi hotspots and securely auto-connect to them using the Xfinity app.
To auto-connect to secure WiFi hotspots, delete the Xfinity WiFi Hotspots app. Then, sign into the Xfinity app and follow these steps:
- Visit the “WiFi” tab and select “WiFi hotspots.”
- Select “Connect automatically” and tap “Auto-connect now.”
- Finish following the prompts, and that’s it! Your device will now securely auto-connect to Xfinity WiFi hotspots.
Note: Xfinity Mobile devices already auto-connect to secure Xfinity WiFi hotspots. If you’re an Xfinity Mobile customer, you won’t see the option to turn on secure auto-connect in the Xfinity app at this time. Learn more
