We are excited to be celebrating 20 years as an active support community. In the last 20 years, our forum users have provided some amazing ideas that have helped to shape our Xfinity products and services. During our 20th Anniversary celebration, we want to award you for those ideas with our “What If?” Sweepstakes.

How to enter:
Reply to this thread between 06/01/2023 at 9:00 AM ET and 06/30/2023 at 11:59 PM ET with your best idea related to any Xfinity product or service.

As long as it is relevant and useful, no idea is too crazy -- we want to hear them all. We will be sharing these ideas with our internal product partners to see if we can bring some of these to fruition. Who knows, during this time next year we could have a rainbow of remote colors available (just as an example).

All winners will be selected at random, and we will be in touch with all winners via email and forum direct message.

Ooo! What if we could have rechargeable remotes?

It's a small thing, nuts-and-bolts, not exciting.

But our family chews thru a lot of batteries bec the remotes are ALWAYS being clickedclickedclicked. 

What if we could just plug them in to recharge them & not buy batteries again? There'd be a cost for Xfinity, of course, but also a quantifiable benefit for customers who use remotes.

Maybe try regional test runs, gauge interest level, etc.?

I'll piggy-back on your idea;  I have on my desk a pocket calculator that has a permanent battery in it, and a small solar window on the front of it.  The kind you can buy hanging on a rack at the supermarket checkouts.  I wonder if the same technology could be applied to remotes?

I would love to be able to CUSTOMIZE BUTTONS on the remote! Even if it was just one or two.
My Roku has a couple of buttons that can be programed as shortcuts, so that would be great.
Since switching from a legacy box to X1 the #1 thing I miss is the LAST button that took me STRAIGHT to the previous channel (no need to select enter).

Green Rewards Program: Xfinity could introduce a rewards program that incentivizes customers to adopt eco-friendly behaviors. For example, customers could earn points for energy-efficient practices, such as reducing energy consumption or recycling electronic devices. These points could be redeemed for discounts on Xfinity services or exclusive eco-friendly products.

It would be great to see more attention given to improving the Flex and the software inside it.  The product is great, but many services/apps are currently missing and we can’t access some of our favorite programming because of it.

What if the Xfinity Mobile Global Travel Pass was available for other countries besides just Canada and Mexico? It would make the cost of travelling much lower and would provide a more competitive offering.

I would like to see better deals for existing customers. We have been with you forever and pay a lot! It would be nice to offer discounts and deals based on loyalty.

I'd love to be able to watch my shows on any TV in the house from the dvr, even if the box isn't in the room.

I'd like the option to convert offers/rewards into CREDITS -- so for "$1 Movie Weekends," instead of renting a 5.99 movie for $1, I'd rather skip the movie and get a $4.99 discount on my monthly bill.

@user_2a2def​ Not sure if this is possible for you (or at all), but have you tried using the Xfinity Stream app to watch your DVR'd shows? That way you wouldn't need a cable box connected to every TV. I'm new to DVR and Xfinity Stream, so I haven't tested this myself.
