Someone Please HELP!

My husband and I just closed on a house and are finally moving in this Saturday. I tried to set up a transfer of service and it said it needed more information. I called customer service and they told me that my property is currently under construction and it wouldn't be released or cleared for service until december. They couldn't tell me why or what I could do to resolve the issue. They just kept transferring me to another department that also did nothing to help me. I'm a full-time student and I also work full time and I have to have internet at my home to do the things that I need to do everyday. I definitely do not want to have to switch providers but at this point if somebody cannot help me at least give me the steps that I need to do to start the process then I'm going to have to. I've been with Xfinity for a long time and customer service experience is always been really good but this is getting ridiculous. Can someone PLEASE tell me what I need to do. My house is definitely not under construction. The neighbor right next door HAS XFINITY RIGHT NOW???

EllieNicole Welcome to our community forum and we are excited to help you move your Xfinity service to your new home! I will open a serviceability ticket to have your new address added to our billing system, then we should be able to process the transfer of service. You are in great hands with my team and we will stick with you every step of the way until you confirm everything is good to go :).

Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Include your name and address so I can find the account and get started on a resolution.

The concern is not "accessibility / disability" help related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section.
