This happened to me too. The first person I spoke to told me "no, it's impossible for the phone lines to be hacked." I had to call Comcast many many times to deal with $1700 of false charges from June 2020. They refunded it piecemeal and tried to hold out on literally the last $100, insiting that I hadn't been approved to get a credit for the full amount. Only when I flipped out did they finally agree to credit the remaining charges. Pretty outrageous. If it happens again, I'll leave Comcast. My advice to anyone who this happens to is to keep calling to make sure they credit every last dollar. I hope someone brings a class action.
