I'm running into an error on my network adapter, which was not happening before shifting to Xfinity internet service yesterday, along with an Xfinity router/modem.
The router/modem is: Arris SBG6580
The error I get on my Windows 10 pc is:
Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding
I am noticing that when I do a speed test (speedtest.net) the server chosen is one in a different country, and not a local one (Boston, for example).
I also am noticing a delay or lag when I search on the internet. Speed seems fine, just a lag when click on search/etc..
I've done all the flushing and ipconfig work all the self help videos request.
Something tells me this is a router setting, but maybe not.
