I understand that wait times are long when everyone is at home. That's not the point. The point is I was left on hold until the offices closed and no one informed me. An update to that as well. I called the next morning and was waiting for another hour and a half before I had to go to work as I am an essential employee during this pandemic. I don't get the luxury of waiting at home all day and interact with hundreds of people, so I'm already stressed enough as it is. I finally got a hold of somebody after I got home from work, only to find out that my brand new cable box doesn't even work after another 3 hours on the phone. Now we're up to 6 hours. When I finally did get some help, the folks who helped me were really nice and professional, but it sure did sound like there was a party going on in the background. Maybe if people weren't chit-chatting and laughing in the background and WORKING instead, people wouldn't have to wait 6 hours for assistance. Anyway, I was promised a new cable box in 3-7 days. 10 days later, nothing has arrived. And now I come to find out that my bill is $50 more than the amount I was originally expecting AND I still don't have half of the service I'm paying for. Don't defend the company you used to work for, especially when you don't know another person's circumstances. I won't accept two free months of "premium channels" and at this point, and I won't take no for an answer. <Edited>

I was on hold for 2.5 hours with an expected wait time of 30-40 minutes. I continued to wait on hold,<Edited>. Well, after 2.5 hours, I gave up and tried calling back to see what the wait times were. Lo and behold, THE OFFICES ARE CLOSED!!!!! I was kept on hold without my questions answered and NO indication that the offices were closed. At the very least, TURN OFF THE PHONE SYSTEM AND NOTIFY CUSTOMERS WHO ARE WAITING FOR SERVICE THAT THE OFFICES ARE NOW CLOSED. OR BETTER YET, CLOSE THE SYSTEM TO CALLS PLACED AFTER A CERTAIN TIME AND ANSWER THE CALLS THAT HAVE BEEN ON HOLD FOR 2.5 HOURS!!!! I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who found this out the hard way. <Edited>. Disappointing and terrible.
Don't be fooled by the spots that are listed as edited. Someone from their corporate offices deleted my comments and just listed them as edited. "I continued to wait on hold, as is expected with Comcast." was the original message. What a shame and a disgrace. I didn't give permission for someone else to edit my comments and is unbelievably frustrating that someone would censor MY opinion. We can see straight through the b******t.
