I did the upgrade to xfinity advantage and was told that they would do an assessment for 2 weeks and determine if I would get the free pods. Never heard anything but my kids tell me constantly that they have weak to no connection in areas of their bedrooms. Spoke with customer service who set a service call and a tech to come check around and walk around the home to assess. He determined that the home had dead spots and needed the pods. I called customer service back and the rep spoke to a supervisor who said that even though we had a rep determine that there were dead spots that we could not have them because it must be a house issue not an xfinity issue. Even the service tech said he never heard of this before. So basically they have it set up that there is an excuse to not give the free pods regardless of what they say when they sign you up!!
