I had this issue X1 DVR playback would have error or freeze. So reported and they sent a new box. First new recording on it just did the same thing. Seems like I should look elsewhere as spent hours trouble shooting and talking to employees. They say they never heard of the problem yet it looks like a kind of common issue. I would feel more at ease if employees actually looked into this exact problem, they don’t seem to try to understand it. Bout to just get internet only for Comcast and stream for a better deal.
