I bought an Xfinity internet subscription yesterday with a self-install option. Despite multiple attempts, gateway won't get online light on and US/DS kept blinking instead of steady. Phone support had me restart the gateway and did a bunch of things to no avail. Finally, I have scheduled a tech visit to see what's wrong. My guess is there wiring itself isn't working.
In such a case am I liable to pay for the technician visit or I am better off canceling the subscription itself?
