I had a username of AGM1204 (which is what I want to continue using) but when I tried to login to user the forum today it would only bring me to the "Create a Username" page not a login page and when I entered AGM1204 it told me, of course, that that username was already in use. Yes, duh! It's me!!! So, the only way to get around that and get into the forums was to create another user name (addimoore) which I am using currently but do NOT want to use. Would you be so kind as to change my username back to AGM1204? Thank you!!!
Welcome back to the Xfinity Forum. We sincerely apologize for the issue you are experiencing with your previous username @1204AGM . After searching the username it does appear that the username is still active and is available for you to access with the correct email and associated password. I can also tell you that the email you used for this new username is not the same that you used for that other username.
If you do not remember these credentials for the AGM1204 username, feel free to private message me with your full name, address and phone number to discuss/update this information.

Is the forwarded email going to your Spam folder? Even if it's not I suspect you are right and it has to do with the fact it's a known junk message/phishing scam. I got a similar email about a purchase on my Apple account maybe a year ago. I would call Comcast security and see if they can tell you what's going on-------------------------
