I moved into my parents' house from my own house where I had Xfinity Triple Play cable account & mobile service, only 5 minutes away. I canceled my cable account with Xfinty because I was able to get onto theirs. Suddenly my Xfinity Mobile bill goes up from $22 per month to $65. Technically I'm still a Xfinity/Comcast customer, but not to Xfinity. Also, they insist I have to change my telephone number! In addition, they tell me there will be a loss of service during when they add on the new line (but they can't tell me how long that will be). I was looking for seamless service. It's been frustrating; looking alternatives. Anyone know how to get on to another account and keep my own cell phone number?
