I typically watch through the HBO Go app via my xbox1 or xbox1x. I have not had noticable issues until last night's (4.28) episode. It was really garbage. I thought it was just my one TV/lesser xbox so we switched to another locatoin/tv that is the better set up - still had a lot of issues.
Could it be the quality of the HBO feed? Could it be the quality of the internet coming in? The timing of it last night during the episode (does that matter)? Not sure.
Like you, I will plan to watch via a different method today (HULU or AMZN Prime) and will try via the TV itselff to see if it improves.
