I scheduled an Xfinity install in January, the tech arrived at my house and said he was unable to install without a tap on the line. A couple days later I received a call from Comcast because they notcied my install was not completed. I explained the issue and the rep I talked to said she would get in touch wth construction to get a tap isntalled and I would get a call by Feb 13th. The 13th came and went and I never got a call. I waited another week and called Comcast. The rep I talked to said my install had been canceled due to no acitivity, he was very appologetic and claimed he would get in contact with construction yet again and that someone in construction would call me in the next few days to let me know they were doing the work. That was 2-3 weeks ago.
I really want to give Comcast my money for internet service, the cable lines are finally on my rural road, I cannot wait to ditch my horrible DSL service, but it doesn't seem you guys want my money.
What do I need to do to get a tap installed so a tech can complete the install?
