Had phone number ending in 4110 assigned about 4 years ago. It is a number that we use for business purposes. Today, I got a call from an associate telling me that the number "is not in service". I checked the phone, called my mobile and got a caller id with a number ending in 1569. I do not know when the number was changed.
I called Comcast and was told that there were experiencing "technical problems" and was told someone would call me "later in the day" (i was not given a ticket number).
My question to this forum is what is the most expedient way to resolve this problem? Any particular number to call, e-mail address to send? Apparently this is something that Comcast has done before to other customers so I find it surprising that procedures have not been put in place to prevent it from happening again. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
