A friend referred me to Comcast. He sent me a referral code. I was unable to sign up for service online, so called a representative. He was happy to sign me up, but wouldn't take the referral code, saying I could enter it online later. That is not possible, I find out. So I called Comcast for support THREE TIMES. Each time, the agent put me on hold to look up how to solve this. Each time, while on hold, the phone line went dead. Each time, the agent promised to call me back if we got disconnected. Each time, no agent called me back. Each time, it takes me 10 minutes to get to a live agent. This is a reprehensible way to treat a new customer, or any customer. Inexcusable.
