to diagnose, look at a local HD channel on your X1 set top box in both SD and HD. does your device display the HD channel properly? pick an HD channel like CNN or foxnews and view the HD channel version, is it in HD? do the same on a smart device (iphone/android). the the same HD channels fully fill your device's stream? on the Roku did you select the same 'HD' channel numbers as in the tests above?
