I want to say first that I have been working with customer service agents the last 2 days and they have been extremely friendly and helpful. I have the internet and voice performance bundle for $79.95 (we do not want cable). The internet speed is too slow for the streaming television services we use, so I was asking if there were any packages where I could receive an increase in my internet speed (customer service suggested the Blast), but still only have voice and internet. The answer I received was No. They tried to sell me on triple play packages that would have been a great value, but again we don't want cable. So I asked what it would cost to just upgrade to the Blast! while keeping my package. I was told it would be an extra $30/mo. I would rather deal with the multiple disconnections we have each night than pay that amount. Sorry. We have been long time customers but will have to look for our internet service elsewhere, though if past inquiries are any indicator we will probably have to stay with Xfinity.
