My Comcast spam filter stopped working about 10 days ago (10/6/18). All sorts of nonsense is coming into my inbox. I called Comcast. They told me to check if the spam filter was off (by...magic?). Of course, the spam filter is on. I have been marking them as spam but it's not letting up. I see the solution others offered (thank you). But really, it seems complicated and I pay Comcast a lot of money. Seems like they need to fix it.
