Frozen screens rule in my house!!
Long story.....Short version..... My brand new LG 65" TV is getting "Frozen Screen" syndrom. I called LG, they did their thing checked updates all was good with the TV...so I thought. Then it happened again so called Comcast. She said they checked line from here end...there are "issues" with my line.
They sent out a great technician who did his magic...checked wires, replaced connectors, replaced a couple of coax cables going from my X1 box to the TV........my unwanted friend Mr Frozen picture was back!
We got the technician back....of course all checks good. He left and soon after "Mr Frozen" was back.
I went down to Comcast and got a new X1 box....this should do it they said!
That was very short lived...........
I filled out a service request for LG, they called soon after. We spoke for a while and he said it was the "Mother Board". 5 Days later the "Mother Board" was replaced and I was back in business....not so fast! It happened again. I called the LG repair man, He said check all the connectors and connections. I did...It happend again!!
I went back down to Comcast and had the X1 box replaced...again. Mr Frozen still visits us every now and I'm soooo confused.
The only way to unfreeze the picture is to reset the X1 box...
Can someone out there help me please!
