Has Xfinity caught up with the times and offering all games in HD no matter what? Or, is HD Beta still available for the 2018 season? As I sit here on Opening Day, my channel lineup does not list any HD channels for today's games. However, there does appear to be one MLB Extra Innings channel offering an HD broadcast. One channel??? Really??? Not being able to watch my favorite team in HD all season long will be a deal breaker. However, even if HD Beta is still in effect during the '18 season, does this mean that I can not record a game in HD? It seems that a customer can only search for Live HD games, so how do I record a game in HD while I'm at work? I then tried to use my Xfinity login credentials to access what I thought was my MLB.TV account, and what do ya know...I now learn that Xfinity DOES NOT offer this to its customers, even though the Xfinity phone agent told me it woud be included and even though every single MLB Extra Innings TV commercial states MLB.TV is included (no fine print). I am going to be one very disappointed Xfinity customer if this holds throughout the season. I hope things will change at Xfinity, but if this nonsense continues after the free-preview period...I'm Gone! As will tens of thousands of subscribers, I'm sure. I'm certain DirecTV will welcome me back with open arms. Hopefully I'm wrong about Xfinity.
