I FOUND A SOLUTION!!!
this only applies to Apple users, but I assume it can work for androids. The problem is the safari browser and the mobile version of HBOGO website. I have had the same frustrating issue when signing in on HBO go, then signing in to my Comcast account, and does not take me to a page to enter in the pin to activate my HBO go on my Roku. In fact it was saying that I did not have hbo, which I know I do. After hours of this problem, I finally tried a different browser on my iPhone. I used puffin, a free app that lets you surf the web with a DESKTOP version of websites, not MOBILE. That is the key. I used puffin, but it might also work with Firefox, chrome, etc, but not safari. After downloading puffin, they ask if you would like to use desktop or mobile web surfing, I chose desktop, went to the HBOGO website, signed in to my xfinity account (which did not take my away from the hbo website), then BOOOOOOOOM, I FINALLY got the prompt to enter in my pin to active it on my Roku!!!! I have included a picture to show it works. I really hope this helps you all. This was incredibly frustrating and I feel your pain. Let me know if it works!!
