I've knoticed if I alone use a roku player through xftinity WiFi I come out between 600 and 760 gigs a month, when the beta first launched I capped at 98% of my total terabyte! By week 3 of 4. When Netflix was added to the cable box we watched 1 season of a 47 min long 24 episode season, this took 2 weeks, I had perviously set up a data alert thanks to the Beta, and was already 80 % of my limit. I checked with a family member who worked as a call service tech support for Xfinity, about the data. He had no clue they never showed any type of testing for it. Figures right?!

Does using the XFINITY TV Partner App: Beta – Roku count against my Internet data usage? No, the Xfinity TV Beta App delivers an in-home cable service over Comcast's cable system, not over the Internet. Therefore, the Beta app usage will not be counted towards your XFINITY Internet monthly data usage. To this statement, they said it wouldn't count against my data, well I used only this app in my by myself 7 days a week, (bad roomies) I have my own internet/WiFi I'm the only one connected. Though multiple devices, and by week three I learned about the data limit, because I apparently used 98% of a terabyte! I have capped this also using Netflix through the X1 DVR system. When ever I use a stream app through Xfinity that they offer by data doubles . And I was in the beta for only those 3 weeks. Because you say I won't get charged but billing HAS to charge you for that month, you may or may not get a refund for it in the next bill.
